We spent a few days at the end of January visiting Europe’s largest plant fair (IPM) in Essen. Freezing cold, snow but a fascinating exhibition. The main purpose of our visit was to identify potential new stock for the coming season at the most competitive prices we can find. Lots of interest from growers and wholesalers in a new company like us and hopefully you will benefit from the larger range of plants we can now potentially access. As we said before, if you have an interest in a particular plant or group of plants, let us know and we can try and provide more information and even include your shopping list in our imminent orders.
A few of you have already expressed interest in e.g. Schefflera Taiwaniana but despite intensive searching, no-one seems to supply that right now. We never give up though. We can, however, get hold of seedlings of Schefflera actinophylla and arboricola.
In brief, we think we will be stocking a significantly larger range of exotic and arid species (details will follow once we have finalised our orders) in a range of sizes, including:
Cycas, Yucca, Dasylirion, Agave, Aloe, Cacti
Bananas
Gingers
Cannas
Hardy palm seedlings
Non-hardy palms and seedlings
Keep a watching eye on the forums and the new website (trying bookmarking www.palmfarmonline.com). We will post much more detailed information as soon as we have it including prices, sizes and pictures.
