This impressive and stunning succulent requires planting in full sun in any well drained soil. A mild climate is a must if it is to survive the British weather though larger plants are hardy if kept dry in winter. Alternatively plant in a container and re-locate under glass during winter months. Provides valuable winter interest with evergreen foliage for all year round colour and screening. It’s suitable for container growing and for exposed coastal planting. Its attractive architectural form and foliage provides for all year interest. Tolerates full sun and sandy, drought-prone soils. On a point on interest, these species form the basis of the drink Tequila.
