Musa zebrina
- Type: Bananas
Musa zebrina is a rare banana native to Indonesia. It gets its name from the dark red blotches on its leaves.
It will add a stunning architectural statement to any garden, patio or conservatory throughout the summer months. It is, however, not at all frost hardy and should be brought indoors over the winter.
It stays a nice manageable size for a banana keeping down to only 5 to 7ft high.
The plants that we will send are 35cm plus (someare 50cm) and are growing fast. They will be sent bare-root in order to keep P&P costs down. This has no adverse effect on the plant.
