Washingtonia robusta (Mexican Fan Palm or Mexican Washingtonia) is a palm tree native to western Sonora and Baja California Sur in north western Mexico.
One of the most beautiful of palms, this will grace any terrace and will tolerate mild frosts down to -5°C, so protect if colder or take indoors in winter. However, it recovers quickly from any winter damage and soon puts on new growth. Very well worth growing as a terrace plant and it will take our wet climate without any problem!
